Holiday Cocktail Party! Thanks to those who attended the recent Lucky Strike networking event! It was a fun night of bowling, drinking and socializing! Malvern, PA Philly Office Geeks is a local user group focused upon all aspects of the Microsoft Office System, for both developers and administrators. This group will provide a community and a forum for people to discuss and learn about the Microsoft Office System – encompassing servers and client applications. Jim Kane, a Solutions Manager at Unisys, will present a case study on the Unisys deployment of SharePoint/MOSS. Unisys originally deployed SharePoint 2003 as one of the earliest and largest deployments in North America, supporting 34,000 users globally. Unisys is just completing migration of their deployment, including over 1 terabyte of data and 14 portals, from SharePoint 2003 to MOSS 2007.
